Celebrating five years since taking over Yarmouth Dental Practice!
We decided on the Hampton Court Flower show as somewhere we wished to visit to mark the occasion and braved delays on Southern Rail and unexpected sweltering heat and humidity in true team spirit! We quickly found our way to the Pimms tent and toasted five years of hard work against a backdrop of fabulous flowers/gardens, elegant Hampton Court Palace and stunning waterfalls. We had fun. It was a rare treat and a pleasure for John and I to reward our talented dental team for their invaluable contribution to the continued success of the Practice.
National Smile Month (15 May – 15 June)
We are always pleased to support this oral health awareness campaign which is now in its 41st year. The aim is to raise awareness and deliver advice in a fun, encouraging way;
• Brush your teeth last thing at night and on at least one other occasion with a fluoride toothpaste.
• Cut down on how often you have sugary foods and drinks.
• Visit your dentist regularly, as often as they recommend.

We recommend you visit the Oral Health Foundation website; www.dentalhealth.org where you will discover a wealth of free and easily accessible, oral health advice and information.
Do please also ask our clinical team; dental hygienists Sam and Lynn for information about care of your teeth and gums and oral health products we stock to assist in this. Tooth whitening is also offered; course of home-based treatments (approved bleaching gel and stents), that helps to give confidence when smiling.
Dr Ian Clift continues to offer an initial consultation for dental implants or orthodontics free of charge.
I hope this makes for good reading and thank our team and patients for supporting us in so many ways.
Quick update
I) As mentioned in our Winter newsletter, refurbishing of our waiting area is scheduled for mid-September, with carpet-fitting booked in. Sourcing suitable, comfortable chairs is proving a little more challenging! The exterior of the building is also due for repainting and this too will happen shortly.
II) Our next Denplan Excel in-house assessment is booked for this November. We would be most grateful, if time permitting, you could please complete a short ‘Patient Feedback Questionnaire’ which can be found in our waiting room area. Happy, positive comments put ‘a spring in our step’, but we also value constructive criticism as this helps us to know how to improve our service to you.
Thank you in advance.
