Changes to Dental Nursing Team
2018 saw us sadly waving goodbye to Dental Nurses; Debbie and Tahnee. We were very sorry to see both leave to pursue new challenges but are pleased each have recently popped in to say Hello.
 | New Dental Nurse/Receptionist Rachael Gulliver Rachael qualified as a dental nurse in 2002 and so is neither new to dentistry, or even the Practice, having worked here some years before. Rachael joined us in June last year during a very busy summer. |
 | New Trainee Dental Nurse/Receptionist Rachel Digby Rachel is our newest team member, joining us in November 2018 just ahead of our usual busy December. Rachel has worked in dentistry before and has re-commenced her training with ‘Dental Nurse Academy’, in conjunction with in-house Practice mentoring by members of our dental team. |
 | HR & Marketing Manager Tracey Duggan Having stepped down from in-house, day-to-day Practice Management. I continue to be involved in Practice compliance & development and to support and manage HR. |
 | Practice Manager Pauline Ballard Congratulations to Pauline, who has worked at the Practice for 15 years, progressing from Dental Nurse, to Senior Dental Nurse and now Practice Manager. Pauline is a familiar, friendly, reassuring face to our patients and we thank her for her ongoing commitment, hard work and care of patients. |
Changes to Clinicians Hours:
1) Principal Dentist; Dr John Dine now works Wednesdays to Fridays.
2) Associate dentist; Dr Liliya Ekova now works on Mondays and Tuesdays. Patients will be offered same day/time appointments on Mondays with Liliya (Lily) or can change their appointments to continue seeing John. Some Friday mornings are available to allow continued booking of same-day appointments with John and hygienist; Samantha.
3) Associate Dentist; Dr Ian Clift now works mostly on a Saturday morning once a month and continues to offer free first consultations. Patients having Implant, Orthodontics or Minor Surgery are now at various stages of their treatment plan and Saturday appointments are proving popular.
4) Dental Hygienists; Samantha and Lynn continue to work some Friday mornings.
